The Boston Pizza-presented Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada's only national junior tour run exclusively by PGA of Canada Professionals for aspiring young players, has received a record number of early bird registrations for the 2012 season, up 60 percent from 2011.
This unprecedented boost in the junior golf world sets up the MJT's 50 tournament schedule across the country to be the most exciting ever.
The 2012 schedule of tournaments and clinics includes 10 stops in B.C., the first of which is at King's Links by the Sea golf course in Ladner, during spring break from March 22-23.
More tour stops occur throughout the spring, summer and fall in South Surrey, Pitt Meadows, Victoria, Cloverdale, Kelowna, Surrey, Vernon and Langley; the full schedule can be found on the MJT website www. maplejt.com and registration is either online or players can call 6049431645.
