An undefeated season finally came to an end for the Ladner United U14 Silver girls soccer team.
United made it through the Richmond Remembrance Day Tournament, a season of league play and the first five games of cup playdowns without a loss.
The dream season came to an end in the Silver cup semi-final as Golden Ears United pulled out a tight 1-0 victory.
The United team roster includes: Alex Heroux, Angela Noguer, Cheris Lee, Denise Toor, Dylan Moorhead, Emma Millichamp, Gabrielle Raaby, Hayley Bonner, Jenah Smith, Kassie Beaumont, Katelyn Cooper, Katiana Lee, Michelle DaSilva, Olivia Grabowski, Samantha Cole-McGilligan, Taylor Archibald and Victoria Stephenson.
United was coached by John Raaby and Laura Cole. The team manager was Deborah Millichamp.
The team just completed the first year of a joint Tssawassen/Ladner select program. Pooling the age groups has led to some great records.
This cooperative venture is also in place for two other age groups. The U14 Tssawassen Gold squad has also enjoyed a terrific season and plans for similar success when its cup play commences.
