The host team is hoping to get a shot at one of the province's senior boys basketball juggernauts when the Pacer Classic wraps up on Saturday afternoon.
The eight team tournament is headlined by the Kitsilano Blue Demons, listed seventh in the B.C. "AAA" rankings.
The Pacers would love a shot at the Vancouver school but first have some work to do. They were expected to take care of Earl Marriott in yesterday's opening round but will likely have a sterner test in today's semi-final (2 p.m.) against Tweedsmuir. The final goes at 4: 15 p.m.
