Tsawwassen Royals senior men's soccer club will be fielding three teams for the upcoming Vancouver Metro Soccer League season.
Tryouts, which get underway on Thursday night at Association Park in Ladner, are expected to be very competitive as Tsawwassen's top team has earned promotion to the VMSL First Division. The club will continue to field a CAT (reserve) team and has also applied for a third division squad.
"Hopefully we can attract some more players to make sure every squad is healthy," said Peter Schaad, a member of the Royals coaching staff as well as play-by-play announcer for the Vancouver Whitecaps.
