South Delta Minor Hockey Association's Linda Reynolds Friendship Award is presented annually to the Hockey 4 player (ages eight-to-nine), who is selected by their teammates to be the most sportsmanlike and team player on and off the ice.

Reynolds was an active member of the SDMHA Parents' Auxiliary until her sudden passing in January of 1993. To recognize her dedication to hockey in South Delta, an award was set up by the Parents' Auxiliary in her memory.

It is an honour to be nominated for this award and all the nominees should be very proud of this accomplishment as it represents what youth sport is all about - having fun and creating lifelong friendships.

The nominees for the 2012-13 season include: Ryan Carleton (SD Red Bulls), Tyler Allan (SD Gators), Arjun Chahal (SD Avengers) and Logan Lechner (SD White Lightning).

The award recipient will be presented during the final weekend of the season and at the SDMHA AGM on May 27.
