Delta Selects Josh Murphy fends off a Richmond United opponent during recent U14 Metro Selects Boys Soccer League action. Delta won this game 2-1. Murphy is one of five Ladner players in the Selects line-up. The district squad begins Coastal "A" Cup playdowns on Saturday in West Vancouver. Closer to home, the Tsawwassen-based U16 Delta Selects will begin their round of 16 playdowns Saturday against Surrey Guildford United at Pebble Hill Park. Kickoff is slated for noon.
