Senior men’s soccer bragging rights will be on the line Saturday night in the “Ladner Derby” at Dugald Morrison Park.

Ladner F.C. and SFC Temple/South Delta United square off in Fraser Valley Soccer League Division Two play.

Ladner is off to an impressive start after earning promotion to Division Two and will take a 4-2-1 record into match — good enough second place in the 10-team division. SFC Temple SDU is in the middle of the table with a 2-1-3 record.

Both squads feature many players that have come through the local youth soccer system.

The FVSL regular season schedule features home-and-away matches against each of the teams. The local squads are slated to meet again in late January.

Kick-off is slated for 6 p.m.
