The Ladner Stingrays Summer Swim Club has opened its 41st season with a splash.

The club has been busy over the past month, attending the Richmond Kigoos Icebreaker Meet in Steveston and the Boundary Bay Bluebacks Invitational in Tsawwassen, along with its own third annual Super Seven Meet.

This event attracted over 400 swimmers from various clubs in the Lower Mainland. Each participant could enter seven individual races, along with two relays. Medals were presented to the top three finishers in the boys and girls divisions, ranging from one through eight.

The Stingrays then teamed up with the Bluebacks to host the second annual Stingback development meet. This competition featured 136 swimmers from throughout the Fraser South Region.
