A pair of of players from the provincial champion South Delta Sun Devils football team have been selected to play for Team B.C. Rising Stars later this month against Alberta.
Linebacker/special teams player Austin Pearson and offensive lineman Aaron Parker were named to the roster following recent tryout camps.
Pearson was the Devils starting middle linebacker during their unbeaten 2012 season.
The B.C. team will be headed by Okanagan Sun receivers coach Jason Fransworth. The first annual tilt against Alberta takes place May 25.
