Tsawwassen hosting 13U provincials starting Thursday

Tsawwassen Athletics will be looking for more success when they host 13U West Provincials starting today at Winskill Park.

Tsawwassen Athletics will be looking to continue their summer season roll when they host B.C. Minor Baseball’s 13U A Provincial Championships starting on Thursday morning at Winskill Park.

The Athletics enter the tournament after rolling through Summer Interlock play with a league best 7-1-0 record. They will be joined at Winskill by White Rock, Campbell River, Richmond City and Nanaimo in Pool “A.”

Pool “B” will consist of Burnaby, Vancouver Community, Victoria, Ladner and Burnaby South/Vancouver Minor.

Tsawwassen has a pair of games on Thursday, taking on White Rock at 9 a.m. and Richmond City at 3 p.m.

Pool play continues on Friday and Saturday with the top two teams in each group advancing to Sunday morning’s semi-finals at 10 a.m.

The championship game is slated for 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
