Tsawwassen's favourite twins were at it again, winning bronze in the $15,000 Clearly Contacts.ca Open at Kits Beach on July 14.
With a field featuring the top teams in Canada, Nicole and Megan McNamara scrapped their way to the semi-finals, only to narrowly fall to the eventual tournament winners.
An hour later, the 16-year-old twins, who will enter their senior year of high school in September, won a tough three-set match on centre court in front of a packed grandstand to claim the bronze.
The girls will now move on to represent B.C. at the Canada Games in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
