South Delta Rams closed out the flag football season in exciting fashion by capturing the U14 title at B.C. Community Football's Provincial Spring Flag Football Championships in Kelowna.

South Delta Rams closed out the flag football season in exciting fashion by capturing the U14 title at B.C. Community Football's Provincial Spring Flag Football Championships in Kelowna.

The Rams won eight consecutive games, including a thrilling 24-16 semi-final victory over municipal rivals North Delta Rebels. They closed out the championship with a 46-15 win against the Richmond Raiders.

Ram coaches Brent Calvert, Dan Matwichyna and Jeff Stalling feel fortunate to have a core group of kids who share an infectious passion for football, and play the game in both the spring and fall.

The team includes: Morgan Brumby, Michael Calvert, Jarvis Dashkewytch, Denver Fatt, Dimitri Goulas, Eduardo Gonzalez, Kai Kennedy, Hunter Norman, Douglas Jameson, Billy Matwichyna, Katie Matwichyna, Maxwell Stalling.
