Delta’s three independent mayoralty candidates are holding a meet and greet in Tsawwassen this Saturday.
Moneca Kolvyn, Alex Megalos and Vytsas Vaitkus are getting together at the Rose and Crown Pub.
In a press release, they say they’re hoping people will find out what they’re all about, saying they want voters to learn what independents will bring to resolving issues and building a better Delta.
“After the mayoral debate at SDSS, it became obvious that the independent candidates just don’t have the budget that Bishop, Cessford and Harvie do, but we all have solid, fresh ideas and a fresh approach to Delta’s issues,” said Vaitkus.
“We are not as ‘top of mind’ because we have not been able to buy the abundance of signage or have had the same amount of media play. I approached the Rose and Crown and asked if we could do something informal so that folks could come by and get to know us.”
The meet and greet takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Rose and Crown, 1203 - 56th St.
