The smell from the Golden Handshake is almost as bad as the Enviro Organics scandal says independent council candidate Mike Smith.
“A pattern of George Harvie misleading the public is emerging and I find it concerning,” said Smith in a news release. “If he can’t even be honest and forthright about his role in this what will he do when he’s mayor?
“This is why I am running. I'm a hard working resident of Delta who will always speak up when I see something wrong. I was the first council candidate to raise this issue and if I’m elected on council I will work hard to keep them all honest. Time for change in Delta," adds Smith, an activist and labour leader.
He encourages residents to take the time to vote this Saturday.
