Delta police seek man photographed near tattoo shop fire

Delta Police are searching for a person of interest in relation to the fire at the Brass Eagle Tattoo Shop at 5052 48 Ave in Ladner Village. The fire is believed to have started at approximately 4:50 a.m. October 2.

Delta Police are searching for a person of interest in relation to the fire at the Brass Eagle Tattoo Shop at 5052 48 Ave in Ladner Village.

The fire is believed to have started at approximately 4:50 a.m. October 2. This image was taken from video recorded in the area shortly before the fire began. Police confirm that the person in this image appears to be carrying a jerry can. The man appears to be wearing a bulky white parka and baseball hat.

Five residences above the tattoo shop had to be evacuated when the fire broke out, and two police officers were briefly hospitalized with smoke inhalation.
