Delta police say they'll be at the scene of a serious accident involving a Canadian National Railway train and truck for several more hours.
It happened in the 4600-block of 72nd Street, near the Boundary Bay Airport, at around 3:20 p.m. today. Police at this time aren't commenting if there were any injuries but called the incident "a serious collision." Reports are saying the driver of the Smithrite Disposal truck was killed.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use 80th Street as an alternate route. Police say they won't be releasing further details tonight.
