Re: Eyes opened by Delta council decision on higher density project, letter to the editor, Aug. 19
While I don't disagree with Sharon Kraemer's opinion about Delta council being on the 'pro side' of development I can say that our street on Grove Avenue just went through a redevelopment (subdivision of property) proposal. I am happy to report that the proposal was unanimously turned down by council. I wanted to thank all of our neighbours for organizing petitions, writing letters (to city hall) and showing up at council's public meeting, I also want to give credit to our council for listening and acting on the concerns of the entire neighbourhood.
