Delta South - Editor: Re: Remove barriers to improve Hwy. 99 on-ramp, letter to the editor, Oct. 1 Keith Munro must have been nominating the 17/99 on-ramp "worst of the year" at the same moment I was meeting with the Ministry of Highway's district manager to tell him the samething. I reported to the community earlier this year that I had been assured the barriers on the ramp were going to be removed last June. I told the district manager that, even though he was new on the job, I wasn't particularly happy I had been put in the position ofmisleading my community.There is no excuse for not completing the changes forthwith.I think we should all take up Munro's challenge and let the ministry know just how we feel about its failure to fix that ramp.Vicki HuntingtonDelta South MLA
