Happy Canada Day, eh? Without consulting Delta, Tsawwassen First Nation, or Tsawwassen, Industry Canada gave the nod to the construction permit granted to KRPI AM Radio for Point Roberts by the FCC.
Belatedly, we were alerted: Intense levels of blanketing interference, normally illegal, are in store for Tsawwassen.
We ask our MP to help. But she refuses to have Canada ask the FCC to cancel that construction permit. But Happy Canada Day, eh - our MP.
She refuses, too, to file an informal objection to KRPI's application for renewal of its FCC broadcast licence.
But Happy Canada Day, anyway, eh - our MP.
