I believe that the government should not be putting barriers in front of individuals who are trying to improve their health

About 15 years go I had a heart attack and approximately 14 years ago I signed up for the City of Delta “HeartWise” program at the Winskill Aquatic Centre.

The program was cancelled about a year and a half ago when COVID came along.

About six months ago I started going to the fitness room at the Ladner Leisure Centre and found out the HeartWise program would begin again at the end of September.

Now our Provincial Government has brought in the "Vaccine Passport" and because I have made a personal decision not to get a COVID vaccine, I will be denied entry to a program to keep fitness and immune system up to a level to help fight off any viruses.

The HeartWise program requires any participant to provide a doctors OK and forms to be completed to participate in the program. I believe that the government should not be putting barriers in front of individuals who are trying to improve their health.
