Letters: Council process on Village sign is very suspect

This whole process smells more the fields around here in the Spring.

Re: Ladner Village sign (Optimist, March 21)

So, council voted to keep the sign, behind closed doors, after hundreds of locals objected to it.

Heaven forbid the Ladner Village Renewal Advisory Council - who were “consulted” about the plaza - would choose to lose their pet project and dare listen to public input.

I find it rich they didn’t have a chance to provide feedback about the sign. And where did the extra $450k plus go?

This whole process smells more the fields around here in the Spring. “Robust” public engagement? I spit my coffee out when I read that.
