A loud heartfelt thank you to Ladner resident, Jamie Gusto for her courage to inform the public of the recent disturbing public behaviour of racism towards her family.
Jamie’s family has been unfairly hurt by this bad unkind and unsafe language.
All of Delta has been hurt and endangered by the sound of racism in our community.
I am hopeful that Jamie’s letter calls us to become better and kinder neighbours to everyone, to those regarded by some on the “inside” and to those regarded by others on the “outside”.
A racist-free Delta will become a safer healthier and more livable community for all.
