Shoppers will stick with good thing

My loving husband just recently finished a bathroom renovation and I started my hunt last week for the perfect finishing touches.

I went to all the big box stores in Richmond and South Surrey only to find what I needed locally.

Not only did Ambient in Tsawwassen and the Blue Door Interiors and Sonia's Flowers in Ladner have exactly what I was looking for, I also enjoyed great conversation with the owners and staff, the offer to help me source more for my home and a free flower (who doesn't love free?).

I did not encounter any of that in my travels outside of Delta.

While I know the retail scene of Delta is going to change in the next year or so, I want to assure local merchants that if you are running your business authentically, have original and unique services and products, and a desire to help your customer, you need not fear.

We, as a customer, know a good thing and a good thing is local and that's where my heart is. So, thank you and keep up the awesome work.
