Development isn't always looked upon in a favourable light in these parts, but there's little doubt that developers are some of the most philanthropic folks in this community.

Editor: Re: Tunnel replacement on track, March 27 First of all, kudos to Sandor Gyarmati for a well written state of the George Massey Tunnel replacement project article. It is good because it raises more questions that we in Delta need answers for.

Beets are one of those vegetables you hated as a kid. They were about as popular as brussel sprouts.

It's heartening to learn the bridge being planned to replace the George Massey Tunnel remains on schedule for a 2022 opening, so as soon as we find the $3 billion or so to actually build it, we'll be on our way.

Editor: Can anyone believe the incredibly wasteful fourpart ballot envelope issued to all voters? For crying out loud, I couldn't make this more wasteful if I tried.
