Ladner Minor Baseball's 9U team are champions of the annual Diane Cook Memorial Tournament in Newton. The team includes (left to right): coaches — Sean MacDonald, Doug Miller, Paul Bach, Sean Riley and Bryan Hudie, along with players Thomas Ramage, Montague Soucek, Hudson Wortley, Nathan North, Caleb Miller, Kaden MacDonald, Sam Johnston, Nathan DePicciotto, Brady Bach, Dawson Schmidt, Cole Hudie and Jack Riley.

Ladner Minor Baseball’s 9U team kicked off the all-star season with a big win over the Canada Day Weekend in Newton.

Ladner captured its division at the annual Diane Cook Memorial — going undefeated in round-robin play, then pulling out a 9-7 triumph over Cloverdale in the semi-final. 

The run was completed with a 9-2 triumph against White Rock in the championship game.

The team includes: Thomas Ramage, Montague Soucek, Hudson Wortley, Nathan North, Caleb Miller, Kaden MacDonald, Sam Johnston, Nathan DePicciotto, Brady Bach, Dawson Schmidt, Cole Hudie and Jack Riley.

The boys are coached by:  Sean MacDonald, Doug Miller, Paul Bach, Sean Riley and Bryan Hudie.
