South Delta Secondary School’s west gym was impressively transformed into an elite level gymnastics venue for last week’s B.C. Secondary Schools Championships.
The two-day meet welcomed over 300 gymnasts from across the province and was co-hosted by SDSS and the Delta Gymnastics Society. It’s the second time in recent memory the Ladner based club has pulled off the feat, having brought the competition to Delta Secondary in 2011.
Thursday’s session featured girls competing for titles in Levels 2-5. The championships wrapped up with Level 1 for junior and senior girls, as well as boys in Levels 1-5.
Here are the top three all-around finishers from each group as well as results of athletes from Delta schools.
