South Delta’s Jason Fram scored the game-winning with just six seconds remaining as the U SPORTS All-Stars completed a two-game sweep of Team Canada with a 4-3 victory in St. Catherines, ON last Thursday.

The University of Alberta blueliner converted a power play opportunity on a feed from Cole Sanford and Jagger Dirk. He also chipped in with an assist to earn second all-star honours.

One night earlier, U SPORTS blanked Canada 3-0. Fram had a helper in that game.

The two-game series served as a tune-up and player selection process for Team Canada as it prepares for the upcoming U20 World Junior Hockey Championships in Buffalo.

Fram, 22, played five seasons for the Western Hockey League’s Spokane Chiefs.
