North Delta:

Stolen auto/Mischief: 11300-block 72 Avenue - Police responded to a report of a vehicle driving in the school field. Officers located the vehicle and observed two occupants fleeing on foot from the vehicle. Police established containment in the area and were able to locate and arrest the two suspects. Both taken into custody without incident and were later released on a promise to appear compelling their court attendance at a later date.

Assault: 11500-block Lyon Road - Just before midnight a 19-year-old male was walking home near a school yard and was pepper sprayed by two unknown Indo Canadian males. The victim fled the area and was assisted by a passerby who called police and ambulance. Suspects described as: 1) Indo Canadian, 6 feet tall, 20-25 years old wearing grey baggy sweatpants and a yellow hooded sweater. 2) Indo Canadian male 6 feet tall, 20-25 years old wearing a hat and black shorts.

Police conducted patrols in the area and deployed K9 but suspects were not located.

North Delta:

Robbery in progress: 7300-block 120th Street - Cab driver was robbed at knife point by his passenger. The cabbie drove a short distance with the suspect and flagged down a Surrey RCMP member. Being alerted to the robbery in progress the RCMP officer arrested the suspect. Delta police attended and assisted. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Delta police cells and held for a show cause hearing Thursday morning. Cab driver was not injured. File investigation continues.

Break and enter: 11900-block 95A Avenue - Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to premise via an insecure door. Once inside the suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area after triggering the security alarm. Forensic Ident to attend and examine scene for any evidence left behind. File still under investigation.

Break and enter: 8600-block 120th Street - Police responded to a commercial alarm and on arrival noted the premise to be insecure. Unknown suspect pried the door and gained entry but nothing believed to be stolen

Break and enter: 8100 block 120th Street - Unknown suspected pried door of business stealing a small amount of money once inside.

Police conducted patrols of the area that had been subject to the break and enters in the business district and located a male believed to be a potential suspect. The male was arrested on unrelated matters. Investigation continues in determining the level of involvement if any of the male arrested may have in the
