Let’s head back to the May 1967 pages of the Optimist to check out a promotional photo highlighting some of the major attractions that would appear at the PNE’s new 15,000 seat exhibition and sports building under construction.

The official opening of what would be the Pacific Coliseum was scheduled for 1968.
