Teachers job action expected next week

Delta teachers could be off the job next week. On Wednesday, a B.C. Teachers Federation membership vote gave the green light for the union to escalate job action in response to the provincial government's latest move in the ongoing labour dispute.

Missing elderly North Delta man found the next day

A North Delta man who was reported missing Sunday morning was found safe early Monday. Delta police issued a plea Sunday asking for the public's help in finding Bill McKinlay. A neighbour last saw McKinlay, 81, at about 8 a.m.
