Letters: Hospice decision is political, unethical

Fraser Health's hands should be slapped for moving out of serving the public for health and playing with political toys to the detriment of citizens' health.

I expect most people who have chosen palliative care do so because they don't want Maid, and even if they have a change of mind, a few yards to Delta Hospital would give them plenty of opportunity to receive MAid.

This is not about medical issues, it is entirely political. And not only that, entirely unethical. Defunding and not renewing their land lease even though the entire building came through funds from citizens. If we let the government get away with this, what other lobby groups are going to slither in and destroy worthy organizations who serve the public?
