Editor: If B.C. Ferries can escape paying taxes on its terminals because they're ferry terminals and nothing but ferry terminals, will we live free of property taxes, too, because our homes are homes and nothing but homes? If B.

I get the feeling the South Fraser Perimeter Road and the George Massey Tunnel replacement might have more in common than meets the eye.

I was having a quick lunch at a local restaurant a couple of weeks ago. When I went to pay my bill, they asked if I was a senior. Apparently, I met their definition, so I got some extra change back.

Editor: How refreshing was it to see that twice in one week there was positive news on the front page of the news-paper. We should all be proud of the volleyball and football teams at South Delta Secondary.

Editor: Our family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Westshore Laylum nursing home in Ladner for the loving care it gave to our mother for the last few years of her life.

Editor: I wish I knew who, what and when. I do know that last Saturday morning I went with my son and daughter to collect empties to raise fund for his soccer team.

I'm motivated once again to raise the topic of the thoroughly discussed traffic issues in Delta. The meeting to discuss the future of the George Massey Tunnel spurs me on.

I know it's incredibly early in the process, but I have a feeling that when it comes to a new crossing for the Fraser River, we're going to get exactly what Victoria has in store for us.

Editor: Every fall we celebrate the arrival of the snow geese and well we should as they are a sight to behold and a miracle of migration on the Pacific Flyway from Wrangel Island in Russia to the Fraser delta and beyond.
