Editor: What a load of trash these days can be put into a flyer to try to persuade the non-informed about the Southlands. I know a lot of people will say we are biased, but, please, only the facts should be put into any advertising.

Editor: Re: Not all agree on the 'Facts,' letter to the editor, Nov. 16 Helen Kettle has attempted to downplay the effect of all the proposed and actual development in South Delta.

Editor: I received a pamphlet on the Southlands and I cannot believe so much misinformation can be printed on one piece of paper.

Editor: I am appalled at the flyer which was delivered today regarding the Southlands and the candidates the "Southlands the Facts" are endorsing.

Editor: I felt compelled to write to you about Carroll Allan's candidacy for Delta school board. I first met Allan when I was in the sixth grade and played the role of the Tin Man in Sidekick Players Club's Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz.

Editor: I often wonder why we can't learn from our mistakes. We see politicians talk about the environment, waste, recycling and how they will make Delta a leader in waste management.

Editor: Re: Interest wasn't there previously, letter to the editor, Nov. 9 I was appalled to hear that Mayor Lois Jackson held a summit with the proposed developer of the Southlands that was not open to the public or the media.

Editor: A piece of campaign literature that arrived through my mail slot this week has gone straight into the recycling bin. Sponsored by Southlands the Facts, this flyer is full of misrepresentations and fear mongering.

Editor: With the election for Delta school trustees in a few days, parents should keep in mind all but one of the present trustees voted in favour of school closures.
