You know that warm and fuzzy feeling that you get when you've done something good for someone? Say you cleaned the dishes for your parents without them asking you to, or maybe made a relative a gift.

It's Christmas Eve and I couldn't be happier. The shopping is done and wrapped, thanks to my wife. I'm thankful to her for looking after most of it as I'm more of a last-minute type.

Editor: Delta's only squash club is at risk of being lost forever, which would be a terrible shame.

South Delta is truly fortunate for the outpouring of goodwill that takes place every holiday season, but this year that kindness seemed extra special.

I won’t be eating sandwiches on Christmas Day. I’ll be hosting 12 for turkey dinner after a month of birthdays, anniversaries, shopping, decorating, baking and cleaning.

Each year Pantone chooses a colour for the new year. Marsala has been chosen as the colour for 2015. It’s not that popular with some people but I love it. It is rich, warm and inviting.

As we prepare to slow down a bit over Christmas - unless you are employed by an organization that is going flat out - it's time to reflect on what's good in our world.
