If you assemble three Delta residents in a room, chances are good one of them knows someone with Alzheimer's disease. That's how prevalent the disease has become, according to the non-profit Alzheimer Society of B.C.

The Waterford will be opening its doors for a public open house from 2 to 4 p.m. this Saturday. The open house will fall on the last day of The Waterford's week-long celebration for its 10th anniversary.
