With a provincial election looming just two months away, it will be interesting to see if there is any change in voter turnout. Political apathy is rampant in B.C.

It's still early in the process so I'm not getting my hopes too high, but it was heartening to see the province hasn't ordered explosives for the old George Massey Tunnel just yet.

Editor: I am involved in the consultation process about the replacement of the George Massey Tunnel. Already this seems to be used as some sort of a political campaign grandstanding opportunity.

Spring Break starts next week. Not only does it signal a change in seasons, it signals the end of minor hockey and soccer season as well.
