OWL Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society held its annual open house last weekend providing the public with a behind the scenes look at the bird rehab facility.

Almost three years ago Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary rescued 584 parrots from deplorable conditions in the World Parrot Refuge in Coombs. After several moves and the Herculean efforts of an army of volunteers they are now down to 70 amazing birds.
