Editor: I wanted to add something regarding the contentious Southlands proposal. I moved to beautiful Tsawwassen in 2012. I came from Coquitlam.

Editor: Re: Totem coming down, May 1 I am 10 years old and I saw in the paper that the totem pole outside the museum is coming down.

Editor: On Sunday, April 28 while visiting Delta on vacation from Winnipeg, I lost my wallet containing a substantial amount of money and my passport. I felt ill.

Editor: Re: Animals in new home as shelter now open, May 8 The good news is a new animal shelter has opened in Delta, and thus there'll be a greater amount of space for unwanted animals, almost entirely abandoned or feral felines.

By the time an election campaign has come and gone, most voters have had their fill of rhetoric.

Editor: There will always be farmland without "our" farmers if developers are allowed to buy the land and hold it until such time as they feel the government of the day, whether at the municipal or provincial level, will allow agricultural land to be

Editor: It would appear Bruce McDonald is touting building a new crossing. Well, the North Shore has been touting a new crossing since the 1950s. Empty promises before an election won't convince the I've-heard-that-before voters. Fay Anderson

Editor: The Liberal candidate in Delta South, as we all have observed, has run a one-issue campaign, if what he's been doing can be called that.

Editor: This time around I will be voting in Delta South for a "Change for the Better" but I will not be voting for the NDP. Somewhat counter-intuitively, in Delta South change would be represented by voting for Liberal candidate Bruce McDonald.
