After Monday night's Delta council meeting, it looks like Ladner's waterfront is still searching for that long-awaited catalyst.

Watching the United States election on television Tuesday night was fabulously entertaining. I pretty much stuck with CNN's coverage but did check out all the major networks.

Editor: With a tailwind from Hurricane Sandy (and an additional gust from New Jersey Governor Chris Christie), the American people have given President Barack Obama four more years of kicking the can of U.S. economic recovery down the road to 2016.

Re: Bishop seeks NDP nod in Delta North, Nov. 2 I find it disturbing that after only 11 months into her first term as a Delta councillor Sylvia Bishop is throwing in the towel to move on to greener pastures as an MLA.

Editor: Re: TFN readies property for mega malls, Oct. 31 I don't particularly want to participate in this debate but I have stooped. I am perplexed by the negative spin that is constantly being put on the mall proposal by the TFN.
