Editor: Re: Toll is a possibility for tunnel, March 7 It is inconceivable that TransLink has the utter gall to propose implementing a toll on the George Massey Tunnel. South Deltans have been poorly served by this hazardous tunnel for decades.

It's just sitting there waiting to help ease the burden. The idea of having commuters, not tourists, make use of the blacktop immediately north of the George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99 is one that deserves some serious consideration.

Collect transit fares, not tolls

Editor: Re: Toll is a possibility for tunnel, March 7 Seriously? If TransLink is examining potential revenue streams, here's one: How about collecting fares from all the thousands of people that don't pay to travel on our buses or SkyTrain.
